Cap Cana Golf Cup 2021: a Mexican night full of joy and fun

The Punta Espada Golf Course commemorated its 15th anniversary with the closing of the traditional anniversary invitational tournament, Cap Cana Golf Cup, in its ninth edition in benefit of the Forjando un Futuro Foundation.

A party night inspired by Mexican traditions with the catrinas, staging of the neighborhood of the Chavo del Ocho, and a tribute to several recognized artists of the country of honor such as Luis Miguel, Alejandro Fernández, and Juan Gabriel, among other amenities.

The celebration of the closing of the tournament was attended by the ambassador of Mexico in the country, Carlos Peñafiel; the Dominican Ambassador to Mexico María Isabel del Castillo, the Spanish Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Antonio Pérez Hernández; the consul of Mexico in the Dominican Republic, Rubén Flores and the consul of Spain in the Dominican Republic, Pablo Gómez de Olea. Likewise, Cap Canas closest Mexican business partners, players, and other special guests.

During this tournament, teenagers Justin Rodríguez and Kevin Rodríguez were winners of the cup for the best overall gross score.

The tournament, which lasted two days, was held with the wonderful views of the Punta Espada Golf Course, and the closing event in the Los Establos equestrian field area, within the destination city, making possible contributions and donations to the social and educational projects carried out by the Forjando un Futuro Foundation.
