A NEW SEASON OF DELICIOUS JOURNEYS – EDEN ROC CAP CANA UNVEILS ITS FESTIVE PROGRAMME

 

Eden Roc Cap Cana is thrilled to announce the launch of its Festive Season Program this December, as guests gear up for the most magical time of the year in paradise.

Beginning this Saturday, 1st December with the annual Lighting of the Christmas Tree event, guests are welcomed to join us for Hors d’oeuvres from our new Chef, and enjoy festive music from a live saxophonist, pianist and singer to get us all into the Christmas spirit.

Later in the month we welcome you to join the management team for a festive season kick-off cocktail on the beach at 7pm on 21stDecember, as live Dominican rhythms fill us with Caribbean Christmas cheer. Guests can then choose between spending Christmas Eve at either Mediterraneo Restaurant for A White Christmas Tale – a unique five-course tasting menu of European traditional dishes with a Caribbean twist such as Slow cooked lobster medallion with artichoke and parsley foam and Milk-fed veal loin, polenta and casserole of winter vegetables – or Christmas Breeze at La Palapa with dishes such as Red mullet fillet with burrata creama and anchovies, and New Zealand lamb shank filled with dates, natural apple juice and gratin of dauphinoise with live tropical music.

All guests are encouraged to join us at BLUE Grill + Bar from 11am on Christmas morning for a lavish brunch served family style, where sumptuous dishes include Pan-fried fish with ponzo sauce, roasted local winter root vegetables, Grilled sliced filet of fish and beef tenderloin with sautéed mushrooms and marinated grilled aubergine or Free-range chicken with truffle and leek fondue. A range of stations will also be available, including a carving station serving roast leg of lamb with thyme jus and roast spare ribs with glazed apricot and honey, as well as a sushi and Nikkei station. Breakfast dishes galore will also be on offer, alongside every vegetable imaginable, soups, Italian dishes, pizzas, seafood, and a dessert spread that will include baked tangerine cranberry tarts, mini pavlova with passion fruit cream, almond pear tarts, maple walnut bars, candy cane cheesecake, individual pumpkin pies, assorted fresh fruit tarts and Christmas cookies.

Between Christmas and New Year we’ll be offering a Caribbean Heritage Dinner at both La Palapa and BLUE Grill + Bar on Boxing Day, as well as a delicious Italian feast on 28th December in Mediterrano – From Capri with Love.

New Year also offers us a chance to wow our guests here at Eden Roc Cap Cana. Enjoy either a sit-down, four-course meal at La Palapa’s Sea of Lights New Year’s Dinner with dishes such as Sea scallop with orange breeze & coral emulsion and Gratinated lobster with provenzal herbs, sauteed spinach and roasted potatoes, or for a night of ultimate indulgence, head to Eden Roc Beach Club for its Caribbean New Year’s Eve Gala Dinner. All guests will be welcomed with a bespoke cocktail, champagne and canapes, as well as unlimited cold starters such as assorted sashimi, nighiri and sashimi, oysters, octopus ceviche and Poached King crab legs. Our Gala Dinner guests will also feast on foie gras terrine and Spanish “pata negra” bellota ham, before veal loin served with caramelized potato fondant and demi- glace sauce or Risotto with black truffle and veal demi-glace.

All Eden Roc Cap Cana guests are invited to Full Moon After-party with DJ until 5:00 a.m. to welcome in the New Year at The Eden Roc Beach Club, before enjoying a leisurely poolside BBQ from 12pm on New Years Day at BLUE Grill & Bar.
