CANA DORADA FESTIVAL WAS CELEBRATED AT CAP CANA WITH HUNDREDS OF CELEBRITIES

The party for international celebrities brought brightness and glamor to the debut of the Cana Dorada International Film Festival.

Mexican actress Aracely Arámbula and Dominican actor Carlos de la Mota, among other personalities brought elegance to the event. The impressive cenote located inside the Eden Roc hotel in Cap Cana was the scene where guests enjoyed a refined selection of movies and were the first to see the teaser of the Dominican film “A Tiro Limpio” by Jean Guerra.

Mark Canton, producer of the series “Power”, which tells the story of “Fantasma”, who is immersed in one of the largest networks of illegal drugs in New York City, was present with part of the cast in this orchestrated event by businesswoman, Raquel Flores and actor, Fernando Colunga.

 

Events that were held around the festival were held at the exclusive Eden Roc, Punta Espada Golf Club, Marina Cap Cana & Los Establos. Cana Dorada brought together personalities of international cinema and television, and allowed local talent to mix and exchange ideas with your foreign counterparts.

The presence of actors such as Jalsen Santana, who is also a producer, Luis del Valle, Johnnié Mercedes, Julieta Rodríguez, Celinés Toribio, Lumi Lizardo and producer Víctor Dumé. Famous film figures like Avi Lerner, or actors Dolph Lundgren, Danny Houston, Paz Vega, Saúl Lisazo, filmmaker Paul Haggis, among others were also present.

“Nebaj” a movie by the Guatemalan Kenneth Müller with actors Fernando Cautle, Ana Serradilla and Saúl Lisazo was screened on the second day of the festival. The film, based on real events, tells how an indigenous pastor defended his people from the atrocities of the Guatemalan guerrillas in the 1980s.
