Cap Cana appreciates the work of authorities to extinguish the fire

Firefighters from Verón, Higuey, Punta Cana Airport, San Pedro de Macorís, Nisibón, Guayacanes, El Seibo, Miches, Sabana de la Mar, Del Valle, Hato Mayor, Santo Domingo Norte, Boca Chica, Los Alcarrizos, National District, Yuma, Santo Domingo Este, Santo Domingo Oeste and the forest fire brigade of the National Environmental Protection Service (SENPA), express deep gratitude to the courageous men and women of the different firefighting teams who risked their lives.

In addition, he thanked for the support received from the Presidency of the Republic, the Ministry of the Armed Forces, the Ministry of Tourism (MITUR), the Ministry of Public Works and Communications (MOPC), the Regional Directorate of Environment, as well as the mayors of Higüey, Verón and the National District.

La entidad resalto el apoyo recibido por el Centro de Operaciones de Emergencia (COE) y el Sistema Nacional de Atención a Emergencias y Seguridad 9-1-1, quienes en conjunto con el equipo de Cap Cana coordinaron el operativo en el que estuvieron presentes brigadas de bomberos provenientes de Verón, Higuey, Aeropuerto Punta Cana, San Pedro de Macorís, Nisibón, Guayacanes, El Seibo, Miches, Sabana de la Mar, Del Valle, Hato Mayor, Santo Domingo Norte, Boca Chica, Los Alcarrizos, Distrito Nacional, Yuma, Santo Domingo Este, Santo Domingo Oeste y la brigada de bomberos forestales del Servicio Nacional de Protección Ambiental (SENPA), expreso un profundo agradecimiento a los valerosos hombres y mujeres de los diferentes equipos de bomberos que arriesgaron su vida.

Además, dio las gracias por el apoyo recibido de la Presidencia de la República, del Ministerio de las Fuerzas Armadas, del Ministerio de Turismo (MITUR), del Ministerio de Obras Públicas y Comunicaciones (MOPC), de la Dirección Regional de Medioambiente, así como de las alcaldías de Higüey, Verón y el Distrito Nacional.

También al Cuerpo Especializado de Seguridad Turística (CESTUR), la Policía Turística (POLITUR), La Policía Nacional, La Fuerza Aérea, el Ejército Nacional, la Armada y a la comunidad de la ciudad destino Cap Cana quienes estuvieron presentes cooperando en todo momento.
