CAP CANA CO-SIGNS 4TH INTERNATIONAL HEALTH AND WELLNESS TOURISM CONGRESS

Cap Cana is the newest luxury resort that supports the 4th International Health and Wellness Tourism Congress in Santo Domingo, joining in with a sponsorship to the event scheduled this upcoming September.

The Dominican Association of Health Tourism and AF Comunicación Estratégica presented the agenda of the fourth International Congress of Tourism of Health and Welfare, which will take place from September 5 to 7 at the Hotel Renaissance Jaragua in Santo Domingo.

Alejandro Cambiaso, president of the Dominican Association of Health Tourism (ADTS), announced that this edition will involve more than 40 expert speakers, who will analyze the Global Perspective of Health and Welfare Tourism, the Challenges and Opportunities of its Human Capital, the Dominican offer of health services, as well as Innovations in the insurance, financial and tourism sectors, management of the reputation of the destination, Importance of well-being in the Hotel Industry, among other topics that seek to diversify the tourist offer, alienated with the presidential goal to attract 10 million tourists by 2022.

The organizers reported that this activity will have recognized international experts among which stand out, the writer and expert in global health tourism, Dr. Prem Jagyasi; the vice president of Johns Hopkins, Kathy Deruggiero; the president of Global Patient Services of Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Nizar Zein; the CEO of Global Health Care Accreditation, Karen Timmons; CEO Accreditation Canada International, Leslee Thompson, president of World Care International, Dr. Hasam Sharif, Dr. Adolfo Moreno, cluster director of health and dentistry of Medellín and Massimo Manzi, Executive Director of international medicine promotion of Costa Rica, among others.
