The International Tourism Fair (Fitur 2020), showcased once again the great success achieved by Dominican companies growing interest from Europeans markets such as Spain.

Such is the case of Banco Popular, company who two days after the start of the 40th edition of Fitur 2020, had completed more than 25 business meetings.

Banco Popular announced that it expects favorable prospects for the Dominican market, since only in 2019 the financing portfolio exceeded US $ 1 billion in the tourism sector. The BPD financing portfolio for tourism represents 45.8% of the total financing of the financial sector. In the last 11 years, it has financed more than US $ 2,000 million for the construction or completion or development of hotel rooms.

In Madrid, Spain, the Dominican business sector actively participated.
