Concacaf breaks ground with game-changing One Concacaf Home of Football in Cap Cana
Cap Cana, Dominican Republic (Saturday, December 2, 2023) – Concacaf today broke ground on a state-of-the-art football facility which will be built in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic.
The One Concacaf Home of Football will be built for the benefit of the technical development of all 41 of the Confederation’s Member Associations.
The facility will include several high-quality international standard fields, locker rooms, technical education classrooms and a gym, with scope for further expansion in the future.
The ground-breaking event was led by Concacaf President and FIFA Vice President, Victor Montagliani, and was attended by the Concacaf Member Association Presidents and Concacaf Council Members. Attendees also included esteemed guests from the Dominican Republic, including the Executive President of Cap Cana Ciudad Destino, Jorge Subero Medina, the President of the Board of Directors of Cap Cana, Fernando Hazoury, and the country’s Minister of Tourism, David Collado.
