DOÑA LUCY CONQUERS THE 15TH EDITION OF THE CAP CANA CLASSIC

Cap Cana, Dominican Republic – Marina Cap Cana celebrated this weekend of October 11th to the 14th, its fifteenth edition of the Cap Cana Classic International Billfish Tournament. Where at least 30 fishermen from Puerto Rico, the United States, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic participated.

Three intense days of fishing where a total of 38 releases of at least 50 bites of billfish were achieved, for an average of 5.42 releases of 7.14 bites per vessel.

Carey Chen, creator of hundreds of exclusive paintings for tournaments recognized worldwide, who during the activity made an original painting as a donation to the Forjando un Futuro Foundation and “Autism Without Borders”. Peter Chaibongsai, Director of Conservation Programs of the Billfish Foundation, who have dedicated countless efforts to the protection of the billfish species and Jen Copeland, Senior Editor in Chief of the renowned magazine Marlin magazine.
