EASTER PICNIC EGG HUNT FOR KIDS WITH HEALTHY HEARTS

With the aim of raising funds in benefit of  the Latiendo Por Ti Foundation, Los Establos, Ciudad Ecuestre held a fun day for the whole family, called “Easter Picnic  Egg Hunt “.

On the occasion of the celebration of Easter, children and adults enjoyed a day of fun in an equestrian environment with various activities from finding traditional easter eggs, fun races, crafts and arts, pony  tours , inflatable games, snacks, among other joyous activities.

The funds raised will be used for the next round of cardiovascular surgeries to be performed by the International Children Heart Foundation at the end of April at the Dr. Robert Reid Cabral Children’s Hospital, which is the medical institution where most economically challenged  parents turn to  with their sick children in pursuit of health and life for their children.

The Latiendo Por Ti Foundation, whose motto symbolizes the love they have for each other, born  from the initiative of its founder Mrs. Mary Carmen Hazoury of Fondeur, mother of  Jeannie, who suffers from a serious congenital heart disease, with a group of volunteers in an effort to save lives of  infants in critical heart  condition. The medical operative of the cardiovascular foundation was held last January, where 15 patients were intervened. Expectations are of  operating around 60 children each year, in addition to providing support to patients and their families in the recovery process, taking into consideration that the individual contact and education with each family of patients is essential to the success of this program . Each surgery has cost approximately USD$ 3,000 to USD$ 4,000, which are raised through various fund raising activities and donations.
