HEAT LATIN MUSIC AWARDS ANNOUNCES LIVE PERFORMANCE OF CARLOS VIVES ON ITS 2017 STAGE

The Colombian artist has two nominations in the third edition of the Heat Awards.

May 16, 2017.- This 2017 Heat Latin Music Awards will celebrate its third delivery, on June 8 at the wonderful Juanillo Beach in Cap Cana, Dominican Republic. To celebrate this new delivery of Latin music, renowned Colombian singer, Carlos Vives, will offer a great presentation that will be enjoyed by those attending this extraordinary Latin party.

Carlos Vives is a symbol of Latin music and one of the most representative artists of his country. It is inspired by typical Colombian rhythms to give life to his musical works that have gone around the world, achieving more than 20 million albums sold. Among his acknowledgments is two Grammys and eleven Latin Grammys.

Carlos Vives’s musical career began in 1986 with his first album “Por Fuera y por Dentro”, and to date has 18 productions, the most recent being the single “Al Filo de Tu Amor (2017)”. In 2013, the Colombian singer-songwriter decides to compile twelve compositions of his own in the album “Corazón Profundo”, and in 2015 releases “Más Corazón Profundo Tour”, two great record productions that achieved six # 1 in the Hot Latin songs of Billboard with hits like “Cuando Nos Volvamos a Encontrar” ft. Marc Anthony, “Bailar Contigo”, “El Mar de sus Ojos”, y “Volví a Nacer”.

Those attending the third installment of the Heat Latin Music Awards will be able to enjoy live show on the stage of 2017 the interpreter of hits such as “La Gota Fría”, “Déjame Entrar”, “Fruta Fresca”, “Pa’ Mayté”, “La Tierra del Olvido”, “La Bicicleta (alongside Shakira)”, among other hit  tracks. In addition, Carlos Vives is nominated for Best Tropical Artist and Best Andean Region  Artist.
