Five swimming pools, including a saltwater pool, offer a variety of places to swim and relax. If poolside isn’t enough, the Sanctuary Spa offers an experience of pure indulgence.

Come sundown, things heat up with nightly live entertainment, cocktail parties, theme parties and more.

Under New Management

Most recently Playa Hotels & Resorts entered into an agreement to assume overall management of the resort, including operations, sales and marketing. As part of this initiative, which went into effect on October 1, Playa also relaunched the brand.

“We continue to execute our strategic plan and we see the Sanctuary brand as another opportunity to grow in the luxury all-inclusive sector,” said Bruce Wardinski, Chairman and CEO of Playa Hotels & Resorts in a release.

Sanctuary Cap Cana joins Hyatt, Hyatt Zilara and Panama Jack resorts under the management of Playa Hotels and Resorts. In July, Playa closed on the acquisition of a key strategic parcel of land, also in Cap Cana, and has begun construction on a new 750-room Hyatt Ziva and Hyatt Zilara All-Inclusive Resort Complex.

Additionally, Playa’s first two Panama Jack Resorts in Cancun and Playa del Carmen are slated to open in December 2017.
