KIDS GONE FISHING: A JOYOUSLY EDUCATIVE AFTERNOON

Marina Cap Cana presented last Friday the second edition of the children’s fishing tournament Kids Gone Fishing, with the aim of raising funds to benefit the Quiereme Como Soy (Love Me As I Am) Foundation where 19 children of different nationalities enjoyed of an educative and fun afternoon

In this edition five participants were awarded for scoring the most releases, Liany Castillo (9 years), Hector Viloria (13 years), Isaac Tejeda (13 years), Nicole Diaz (13 years) all with two releases and Jose Guillermo Perez (10 years) with three releases, winning the first place.

This edition had the participation and support of Mr. Guillermo Perez who lovingly transmitted to the children his passion for fishing, serving as instructor and guide for the second year in this activity, also counting with support from the Bill Fish Foundation, organization that promotes sustainable sport fishing through the preservation of the bill fish species through the use of catch and release sport fishing practices.
