It’s hardly an overstatement to say that Sanctuary Cap Cana is the most coveted resort in the Dominican Republic’s Cap Cana region.
Just last year the exclusive adults-only all-inclusive resort put the finishing touches on a sweeping $35 million modernization effort.
As part of that effort, guest accommodations were reimagined. The property’s drool-worthy suites and villas at Sanctuary have been designed to complement the predominately Spanish Colonial architecture of the property, featuring rich wood accents, tropical rattan furnishings, and elegant coral bathrooms.
In addition, all suites and villas include furnished balconies or terraces, flat-screen televisions, minibars that are replenished daily, espresso machines, silk bathrobes and slippers, and bathrooms with double vanity sinks.
Accommodation options range from the Junior Suite Ocean View located in the Colonial section of the resort to the Castle Junior Suite and the Castle Junior Suite Oceanfront, both of which are in the Castle section of the property.
Not to be overlooked, there’s also a new Luxury Junior Suite. This opulent 543-square-foot space includes two double beds, a full bathroom with rain shower, a living area and a private balcony with garden views.
Yet another new room offering is the Premium Junior Suite Ocean View. Like the Luxury Junior Suite, it features 543-square feet but added highlights include a terrace and private hot tub and of course, that unforgettable ocean view that the room is named for.
For those who need still more room, Sanctuary Cap Cana has a variety of luxe options. The Beachfront Junior Suite for instance, offers a sprawling 754-square-feet, highlights of which include a furnished living room and furnished terrace.
Monarch Villas meanwhile, located in the property’s Villa Collection section, are 1,050-square-feet and include a variety of VIP features such as butler service, a bottle of champagne upon arrival, shoe shining, and luggage packing and unpacking.
The Castle Island Suite offers another unforgettable option. The two-bedroom suite includes a master bedroom and a secondary bedroom, two-and-a-half bathrooms, butler service, a large furnished living room, and dining room and three indoor plunge pools. Yes, you read that right. Three.
All of which is just a small sampling of the luxurious accommodation options at Sanctuary Cap Cana.
And when not retreating to the privacy of your room, Sanctuary Cap Cana offers plenty of entertainment and activity. Highlights include five swimming pools, (one of which is a saltwater pool) and the Freshco swim-up bar.
Daily activities at the Punta Cana retreat range from Spanish classes to games of bocce ball, darts, and beach volleyball.
Finally, when you need a sanctuary for the senses, head to the Sanctuary Spa, which offers a serene atmosphere of pure indulgence. The spa combines hydrotherapy and indigenous treatments to create a refreshing, invigorating and peaceful experience.
