The Rodríguez win the Grand Thomas Celebrity in Cap Cana

Golfers César and Freddy Rodríguez win the Grand Thomas Celebrity Classic in its fifteenth version, held last Saturday in Cap Cana.

The Rodríguez team had a sum of 64 suits to win the highest award, one less than the couple in the second box.

The tournament that had three stops, Puerto Plata, Santiago, and Cap Cana was dedicated to the Reserve Bank of the Dominican Republic for its 80th anniversary, bringing together 120 players in pairs, in the Scramble mode competing in categories A and B.

In category B, Fernando Luciano and Allan Estévez prevailed with a net score of 66 in first place, Leo Morales and Eddy Ureña won second place with 68 and José Clase and Víctor Collado obtained third place with 69.

At the conclusion of the award ceremony, the golfers, lulled by the enchanting sound of the Caribbean Sea, enjoyed a spectacular party, an exquisite lunch, as well as the long-awaited raffle.

Haime Thomás, president of Quality Life Foundations, creator of the GTC, thanked Jorge Subero Medina, president of Cap Cana Group for all the collaboration and facilities for the successful celebration of the tournament in his challenging and award-winning course, Punta Espada Golf Course.

Likewise, he expressed his gratitude to the Chief of the Navy of the Dominican Republic Ramón Gustavo Betances Hernández, ARD, Commander General, Navy of the Dominican Republic, who provided us with the marching band and the Marine Guard platoon.

The fifteenth version of the Grand Thomás is dedicated to the Reserve Bank for its 80 years of foundation due to the high value of the entity as a financial, cultural, educational, and sports support in the Dominican Republic.
