UNIBE HELD WITH GREAT SUCCESS ITS 10TH CEU OPEN GOLF CUP
Cap Cana, Dominican Republic, October 30.- The Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) and its Circle of Graduates (CEU) held the 10th CEU Open Golf Cup with great success, benefiting its Leaders of Tomorrow scholarship program. The event took place at the prestigious Punta Espada golf course in Cap Cana, designed by the legendary Jack Nicklaus, as part of a weekend full of activities.
After an exciting golfing day, resulting as winner in the A category: Alberto Smith and Fermín Moore in third place; Enrique Rodríguez and Kelvin Rodríguez in second place, and Ramón Tavares and Gerardo Polonia, in first place. In the B category: Hamlet Santana and Albert Ventura, third place; Lorenzo Gómez and Julio Gómez, second place, and Antonio Benítez and Antonio Benítez Jr., in the first place. The winners in category C were: Julio Amado Castaños and Julio Castaños, third place; Amaury Moscoso and Johny Mendoza, second place, and in the first place, Ismar Torres and Paola Tolari.
The special prizes went to: Edwin Lara and David Lougedo, for the Best Overall Net Score; Christian Rodríguez and Wilson Rodríguez, for the Best Overall Gross Score; Kevin Rodriguez, Closest to the Pin Hole, and Roy Galvan Jr., Longest Drive Hole 15.
Once again, the CEU Open had the VPAR technology, which provides classification information in real time and allows knowing the position occupied by the participants while the game is being developed, so it is not necessary to wait for it to end. The winners were announced between cocktails, appetizers and raffles, during the closing cocktail that took place at Api Beach. Undoubtedly, an unforgettable night in which reigned a festive atmosphere and of camaraderie.

Circle of Graduates of UNIBE and Leaders of Tomorrow
With the aim of contributing to raising the educational level of young Dominicans, the UNIBE Circle of Graduates (CEU) is committed to raising resources so that worthy students have the opportunity to pursue a career in UNIBE.
These initiatives are carried out through the Leaders of Tomorrow scholarship program, created in 2007 under the auspices of the Hazoury Foundation. The main purpose of the program is to identify young talents who have demonstrated high academic performance, social commitment and leadership skills during their high school education, in order to grant them the facilities to carry out their higher education studies at the Universidad Iberoamericana.
Through Leaders of Tomorrow, UNIBE reaffirms its commitment to education in the Dominican Republic, providing these young people with an integral education that has a positive impact on the development of their country.
