WT EVENTS PRESENTS THE 5th BIG FIVE NAUTICAL & BEACH EXPO 2018 AT MARINA CAP CANA

MARINA CAP CANA, CAP CANA,DOMINICAN REPUBLIC. WT Events Planner Box offered the details of the presentation and staging for the fifth year of the BIG FIVE NAUTICAL & BEACH EXPO, a nautical and beach trade fair that will be held on August 10 and 11 at the Plaza del Pescador at  Marina Cap Cana .

The event that has the support of the Ministry of Tourism, as in previous years, aims to bring up close to lovers of the nautical and marine world, purchasing possibilities and showcase products related to the nautical industry; also accessories, clothes and services of  beach and outdoor activities, for the entire Dominican family and foreign visitors, said Alma Taveras, Director of WT Events, adding that exhibitors will present products and services with their latest innovations and more articles sold to attendees at fair prices.

Taveras pointed out that Marina Cap Cana and the area of ​​Punta Cana – Bávaro are destinations for excellence in nautical, social and sports tourism due to its beauty and attractiveness, for its pleasant climate and comfortable atmosphere, which at the same time is fashionable and is visited by thousands of people both local and from other countries of the world.

The BIG FIVE NAUTICAL & BEACH EXPO is open to all those interested in discovering that there is magic in the sea, what we can do and discover in this attractive marine environment that surrounds the island, so the fair will be open from 11: 00am on both days of the event.

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC INTERNATIONAL BIG FIVE FISHING OPEN

During the fair, one of the most important sporting events will be held at the 5th Dominican Republic International Big Five Fishing Open, a fishing tournament that brings together professionals from the rod and the reel of the main yacht and marine clubs of Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Venezuela and the United States that go after the catch and release as protection of the billfish or called White Marlin, Blue Marlin and Sailfish, which abound in this area of ​​the country and which is very attractive for lovers of the sport fishing world. Nowadays Cap Cana and its zone is cataloged as the second best sport fishing destination in the world, and it has been in the top 10 for the last 5 years and is one of the most potential areas for the development of nautical tourism.

This has allowed a great development in the area at the level of nautical tourism, and has allowed a wide commercial development, economic spill as a result of the visits of people in their fishing boats, sailboats and pleasure yachting to the area, in turn motivating foreign investment.
