THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC & CAP CANA WORK ON THE LAST DETAILS FOR FITUR 2020

The Ministry of Tourism of the Dominican Republic (Mitur) will participate in one of the most important international meetings and tourism fairs in the world, FITUR, in Madrid, Spain, to be held from January 22 to 26.

In the 2019 edition, FITUR set a participation record of 10,487 companies from 165 countries / regions, 142,642 professionals and 110,848 visitors from the general public.

For this new edition Korea is the partner country, which registers a significant increase in international visitors of 15.3 million tourists in 2018, and will boost the promotion of the destination by adding its brand to FITUR.

South Korea is currently the third largest market for tourism in Asia for Spain. A very attractive and safe destination, with modern and high quality infrastructure, as well as a good public transport network.
