CARIBBEAN TEAM ROPING CHAMPIONSHIP 2016

Team roping is by far the most dynamic and exciting equestrian modality among cowboy competitions. It is precisely this that has catapulted it to a phenomenon of vast assistance within all countries that practice it.  This exciting sport runs through the veins of the cowboy tradition and subculture in the Dominican Republic.

Los Establos Cap Cana, TRU (Team Roping University), SkyView Ranch and Caribbean Lifestyle have united to celebrate for the first time in the magnificent facilities of Los Establos, Equestrian City in Cap Cana, this exciting equestrian event with the best riders of the team roping modality, which in 2016 presents its 9th Edition from the 18th to the 20th of November.

Invited participants will exhaust a challenging competition agenda concentrated from Friday November 18 to Sunday 20th, however, the vast majority will use this visit to the Dominican Republic to enjoy of the natural beauty and attractions of the region.

For the weekend, an interesting program of activities that will fuse the championship with social gatherings showcasing an expo of fine products and services related to leisure activities and outdoor sports, as well as and food, wine and rum tastings, fine exclusive cigars and select merchandise.

The Caribbean Team Roping Championship (CTRC) has the backing of the World Series of Team Roping and the winners of CTRC 2016, automatically qualify for the World Series of Team Roping to be held in Las Vegas, Nevada , USA in December 2017.

United States, Cuba, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Panama, Mexico and the Dominican Republic, are competing in the showy form of Rodeo and team participation is an additional attraction to summon the finest competitors of the US and the world.
