This Valentine’s Day and President’s Day Weekend, Eden Roc at Cap Cana hosted Michelin-starred Chef Roberto Allocca for an exclusive Culinary Extravaganza. The Executive Chef of one-star Michelin Restaurant, Il Relais Blu, was set to create an Five-course menu for a series of Delicious Journeys where he served Italian specialties with his own version of modern Italian cuisine for a special Valentine’s Day dinner on February 14th “Amore on the Coast” at BLUE Grill + Bar. Chef Allocca delivered an authentic Italian experience as it is characterized by its simplicity and freshness by creating traditional dishes with innovative cooking techniques. Fresh from the restaurant’s garden in Capri, Italy and the gastronomic culture of the Mediterranean, the Chef Allocca’smenu showcases a truly Italian cuisine dream experience. Highlighting Buffalo mozzarella with basil fraganced oil and Lemon risotto, this menu offered dishes that are simple classics yet modernized with neoteric techniques and twists.

In collaboration with Eden Roc at Cap Cana’s Executive Chef, Gianluca Re Frashcini, two extraordinary talents teamed up for an exclusive four hands dinner on February 17th for “Blu Eden” at Mediterraneo Restaurant, where Chef Roberto Allocca showcased the cuisine of his restaurant, Il Relais Blu. Chef’s recommendations included, Roasted lobster with potatoes artichoke and crustacean sabayon, Paccheri with grouper ragù, pumpkin flower, black pepper and roasted orange, and Duck magret lacquered with topinambur and provolone ravioli, accompanied by perfect wine pairing options by the resort’s exceptional Sommelier to further enhance the dining experience.

Gourmand’s and guests enjoyed Chef Roberto Allocca’s authentic Italian cuisine, where fresh ingredients were used and presented in innovative and refined classics without forgetting the true tradition.
