THE CARIBBEAN’S BEST LUXURY NEIGHBORHOODS

If you’re thinking of moving to the Caribbean, there are many factors to consider: what kind of real estate are you looking for? What kind of area are you looking for? Are you looking for a remote enclave or a development? For luxury home buyers, it’s a different proposition: perhaps you want privacy and exclusivity, but also a certain sense of community. The Caribbean is full of beautiful, luxurious places to live — and these are the best. Here are the top luxury neighborhoods in the Caribbean.

  1. Terres Basses, St Martin

    Basses

French St Martin is a sophisticated place, from its world class restaurants to its place as a haven for artists in the region. But nowhere on the French side is more exclusive than the Terre Basses community, close to La Samanna and the Dutch border.

  1. Seven Mile Beach, Grand Cayman

 Cayman

Sure, this is one of the best beaches in the Caribbean. But it also boasts a full fledged neighborhood, with a healthy mix of villas and condos, along with great restaurants, shopping and culture. Cayman has the second-highest GDP per capita in the Caribbean, and that’s what makes the island one of the regions best places to live. The best spot? The luxury residences at the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman (above).

8. Grace Bay Beach, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos
