UNIBE ANOUNCES 10TH GOLF CUP IN BENEFIT OF THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
The Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE) organizes, through its Circle of Graduates, the Tenth CEU OPEN Golf Cup on October 28 this year, at the prestigious Punta Espada golf course, for the benefit of the Leadership Scholarship Program of Tomorrow for Education .
The news was unveiled at a cocktail party led by the UNIBE rector, Dr. Julio Amado Castaños Guzmán and Dr. Leandro Féliz Matos, Director General of Research, at the JW Marriott Santo Domingo and was attended by renowned golfers from the country, sponsors and executives of the Cap Cana tourist complex, as well as their authorities.
In CEU OPEN players can participate in categories A, B and C under the Scramble mode in pairs. Special awards include “One Hole in One” of a Mazda CX-3 vehicle, sponsored by the Viamar Group, plus prizes for the Flag Zoom and Longer Drive. As every year, the event will be framed in a weekend of activities.
Once again, the tournament will feature VPAR technology that provides real-time ranking information and allows you to know the position that the participants occupy while the game unfolds without having to wait for the event to end.

The Circle of Graduates of UNIBE (CEU) strongly believes that the development of the country will only be achieved by raising the educational level of the population. For this reason, graduates of this academy have committed to collaborate, through the collection of resources, with students of high academic performance, vocation of leadership and entrepreneurial spirit interested in having the opportunity to study at UNIBE, through the Program of Morning Leadership Scholarships.
This program, launched in 2007, is sponsored by the Hazoury Foundation and aims to identify young talents who have demonstrated high academic achievement, social commitment and leadership skills during their secondary education, in order to provide them with facilities to carry out their education studies superior in the Universidad Iberoamericana.
In this sense, UNIBE has not only played and continues to play a role as an academic institution, but is also concerned with promoting an integral education in these young people based on social commitment, leadership and academic excellence to positively impact the development of his country.
