CAP CANA LIGHTS UP THE CHRISTMAS SEASON WITH BOAT PARADE
Dozens of boats sailed on the Grand Canal of the Marina, in this first Christmas boat parade held by the tourist real estate hotel destination, to commemorate the most joyful and beautiful time of the year.
Cap Cana, Rep. Dom. November 29, 2017.- With a spectacular parade of boats illuminated by thousands of Christmas bulbs, Marina Cap Cana kicked off the Christmas season, delighting the audience with a colorful spectacle.
Dozens of boats sailed on the Grand Canal of the Marina, in this first Christmas parade held by the hotel tourist real estate destination, to commemorate the most joyful and beautiful time of the year.
The Cap Cana initiative, together with Miguel Tirado and Patricia Noble, members of the fishing community of the Marina, received the support of hundreds of people who gathered to enjoy a magical environment of lights and color showcased by the boats , enjoying and sharing in a family atmosphere and sound fun, with face painting, kids playground, the visit of Santa, Claus, ambienced with Christmas music.
Churchil Gonzalez, Marina Cap Cana Director, expressed that “Christmas is one of the most joyful and beautiful times of the year, to enjoy in family surrounded by peace and love, and that is why in Cap Cana, in an original and meaningful way, we wanted to celebrate the beginning of this holiday, taking our guests, friends and the entire community, the joy of this season, offering them an original and unique show, to remember.
For several days the owners of the boats were preparing and decorating their boats to highlight with every detail the colors of this time of year, in such a way that all the spectators had an unforgettable experience.
To motivate the creativity and the Christmas spirit and give the event an annual continuity, an award was made among the participating boats, selecting the winners in three categories: Lighting, Music and Christmas spirit of the members of the boat, resulting as winner in first place the Blue Bird boat, second place the Emily boat, and third, a tie between the boats B-Way and Fun Cat. At the conclusion of the Christmas boat parade, has already announced the preparations for 2018.
